Jam Making Evening
August 18
Our garden is brimming with raspberries and red currants, and we are inviting you to help us eat them! Keep the taste of summer all winter long by attending our jam-making workshop the evening of Wednesday, August 18. You bring a jar, we’ll bring the rest, and make a sweet spread and some fresh bread!
Beach Bingo and Ecosystem Exploration!
August 8 and 15
Find us on the beach beside the Thomas Raddall day use beach (parking available at Thomas Raddall) on Sunday afternoons in August for a game of Beach Bingo and an exploration of a spectacular white-sand beach. Families and kids of all ages are welcome!

Full Facility Rentals are available for your groups next nature retreat! Book with us to reserve everything the HLC has to offer; a fully equipped cookhouse, ample gathering and work space, five rustic cabins, space for camping, flush toilets, hot showers, campfire pit, kilometers of forest, white sand beach and more!
