Wishing you a Happy Winter 2022 Solstice

Happy Winter 2022 Solstice from Southwest Nova Biosphere

Wishing you a Happy Solstice and time for recreation and reflection in this amazing land, Kespukwitk.

The Southwest Nova Biosphere Reserve Association was fortunate in having good financial and community support to carry out conservation and community work and we look forward to working with you in the spirit of netukulimk, in a balance with the natural world.

This area is one of Canada’s Priority Places for biodiversity. It is an area of concentration for the Atlantic Coastal Plain Flora, best represented in all of Canada here in pristine wetlands. This is mostly a landscape of clean waters, deep peatlands, forests and beautiful coastlines.

We are also an area that is home to 100,000 people and the Biosphere Reserve will keep trying to inform sustainable development.

Enjoy our Solstice eCard and our latest November 2022 Newsletter.

There is another, on agriculture, in the works and we really thank you all for making this possible.

Best wishes,
